If you're seeking the perfect base for exploring Madrid, Hostal Gonzalo has you covered! I had a delightful stay there with a friend, and the location simply can't be beaten. Nestled just off the Paseo del Prado and a stone's throw from the renowned Triangle of the Arts, we found ourselves mere minutes from the Prado, Reina Sofia, and Thyssen-Bornemisza museums. Our cozy room was immaculate, providing a peaceful retreat after a day of wandering through this vibrant city. The hosts, Javier and Antonio, were incredibly welcoming and offered invaluable tips on local eateries and must-see attractions. Plus, with fantastic tapas bars like the ones around Plaza Santa Ana just 400 meters away, we indulged in some amazing local flavors. With the charm of a renovated 19th-century building, Hostal Gonzalo is a true gem for those on a budget looking for comfort and friendly service. Can't wait to return! 🌍💙.
